A Trip Down Memory Lane

Thanks for joining me!

To me, music is more than just something to liven up silence; it is a part of my identity. I’d like to start this off by giving everybody an idea of when I first fell in love with it. I can think back to one of my first notable memories; it is sitting in a chair with my dad listening to Al Green on Vinyl. Probably one of the biggest reasons I will live and die by music is because it seems like every phase of music I have gone through has also been encompassed with a boat -load of memories and emotions. Every single time I take trips down those separate avenues, the emotions and memories seem almost as fresh as the first time I ever felt them. Not all of these emotions are happy, but even the less pleasant ones always remind me of the lessons and turmoil I had to battle through in order to become who I am today. Any time I want to feel a specific way, I know there is a type of music that will be my metaphysical guide. The purpose everything stated is because that is exactly what we are going to continue to talk about through this blog. How do you (we) feel music impacts our daily individual lives?
